Payton Jewell Caines staff were delighted to be able to participate in the charity run for Cancer Research UK held at Cowbridge Rugby Club on Sunday 30th September. It was perfect weather and enjoyed by all who took part.
Anne Birt along with the Cowbridge Cancer Research Committee, did a superb job in organising their sixth annual run which was their biggest and best yet. The day started at 10am and consisted of a 1k fun run for the Cowbridge mini rugby boys, a 6k run which went off at 10am followed by a 10K at 10.30am. Payton Jewell Caines had entries in both the 6K and the 10k – and are pictured wearing their PJC event T shirts.
What was so special about this charity run is that it is organised by an excellent group of dedicated volunteers and is a community event which is something that both Payton Jewell Caines and their staff thoroughly enjoy and are proud to be associated with.
