Teachers at Bryntirion Infants have been educating year two pupils about the importance of fire safety in the home.
With the support of estate agents Payton Jewell Caines, the pupils have all taken part in a competition to write about fire safety and create their own artwork to demonstrate the dangers of fire in the home. Harley Gibbs won the first prize for his newspaper article about the dangers of fire. The 7 year old will be enjoying a trip to the cinema with a meal for his family courtesy of Payton Jewell Caines.
Julie Hopkin, sales negotiator with Payton Jewell Caines explains: “We are very proud of our workin the local community and really value the relationship that we have with lots of the local primary schools. Fire safety continues to be an important subjectfor all young people so we were pleased to have the opportunity to help incentivise Bryntirion children to get involved with the competition and show us their creative skills.”
